Dr. Tao Bai holds PhD degree in international business and strategy from the joint training program between Tsinghua University and University of Cambridge. After one year research fellowship at The University of Hong Kong, he joined International Business School at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (China).
His research interests include multinational firm strategy, and non-market strategy with the focus on emerging economies. He has been regularly presenting his work at international top academic conferences, such as Academy of Management Annual Conference, Academy of International Business Annual Conference, and Strategic Management Society Annual Meetings. He also has published research papers at top academic journals and books within his research area. Dr. Tao Bai has well combined his research interests with business practices. He has been involved in more than a few consulting projects. He successfully advised a Chinese new technology start-up to grow into a publicly listed firm; He also led a consulting project on re-energizing a traditional Chinese home appliance company. In the last three years, he has been focusing on how to facilitate foreign firms to enter and adapt into Chinese market. |
