My name is Sabrina Van Hoften, a Dutch designer born in 1967 and graduated in 1987 from IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) in Milan.
I am a designer and consultant expert in visual communication, product design and advertising graphic design. I worked in several graphic studios and international communication agencies such as McCann Erickson, where I started as a graphic designer and I later became Art Director. Right now my studio is based in Brinzio (VA) from where I collaborate as a freelancer with several Italian agencies. The strong passion I cultivate for design pushes me to take inspiration from daily images and stimuli surrounding me, that I later on reproduce in innovative and appealing works… My working experience allows me to space from editorial graphics to visual identity, from packaging to web design, from interior design to everyday object. I always take care of preserving the manufacturing characteristics of a product but I often combine it with new technological innovations. My style is based on an ongoing attention on the design world and ongoing research in the ability of living our own spaces with a simple taste, inspired from a north-European style.
