Giacomo Battelli
ConsultantBorn in 1981 in Capodistria, Giacomo began his educational journey in his hometown before earning a scholarship to the United World College of the Adriatic, where he obtained his International Baccalaureate in 2000. He continued his studies at the Faculty of Economics in Trieste, specializing in International Economics.
In 2003, he entered the workforce as an Assistant Manager and later as an Area Manager at Telma Srl, a company engaged in the trading of chemical products and the supply of chemical technology and equipment, tasked with developing and strengthening exchanges with foreign markets - particularly in the Balkans. Thanks to his gained experience and international contacts, in 2006 he participated in the startup of Advantech SpA as head of the company's chemical division. On the trading front, significant collaborations were immediately established with Hungarian MOL Plc and Bosnian GIKIL Doo, a company within the Arcelor Mittal group. In the engineering field, joint ventures were formed with established companies such as Rollechim SpA, Ineos LLC, and Petron Scientech Inc. Subsequently, in the years 2009-2010, he oversaw the divestment of part of the activities to one of the leading chemical companies in Italy. In parallel, he started his own business as a consultant and business developer, collaborating with various Italian companies such as AutogasNord SpA, Compagnia Mediterranea Shipping and Trading S.r.l., Valuechem Srl, and international companies such as Will&Co BV, Alfatrade Ltd., and Global Ispat Ltd. |
